HOW TO MASTER THE SALES PROCESS
As an agency, you must convey confidence to your client by controlling a cycle from start to finish: from idea to reality, from idea to value for an audience. This is where your bot building skills must come into consideration as the rock solid baseline. Step by step you’ll get ahead and try not skip one. Following a structure will always help you getting back on your feet, it’s beneficial both for you and the client. Let me share with you a basic one that we created, you might adapt some steps to your agency and that’s fine as long as it brings you great results.
First contact should bring you to Meeting 1, it can be a call, video call, face to face meeting. This meeting is a way to talk about your experience and the results you can bring. Becoming a moderator (administrator is even better, you can ask for it through the facebook business manager) is a way for you to analyze/study their inbox messages (thus questions/answers). The direct gains are an estimate of the potential money they can make / save with the bot and how it will operate to do so. If you automate up to 80% of the recurring questions, how much time do you think it can save them a day, a week, a month?
This is the representation for the customer of the added value the bot and your service can bring. From there, any interest from them becomes an offer that you’ll follow up through phone call/email. Organize the follow up in advance in the calendar together so they don’t put off the project’s priority. If they tell you they can make the bot themselves, make them consider they should focus on their work instead. The learning curve and the bot building process are two of your responsibilities, not theirs.
